The Gamblers

Director’s note: ‘This work offered a valuable opportunity for the participating offenders to talk about the idea of deception. They faced themselves honestly, observed actions and events from their lives, reconsidered them and reflected on personal experiences. Since art is concerned not only with beauty but also with ethics, I hope this effort, together with the pleasure of performance, will stimulate in all of us a willingness for self-criticism and, hopefully, an ethical shift.’
