Digitally Closer
The need to adapt to the new reality created by the COVID-19 measures, and the necessary use of digital tools to support communication and the organisation’s goals, gave rise to ‘Digitally Closer’.
The programme created a shared foundation of digital skills for APICCO members and volunteers, beginning with essential skills for those who needed them — email and online communication, project-management applications, creative software, and the creation and management of digital files — and continuing into more demanding work such as podcasts, video, editing and online courses.
With the support of the Bodossaki Foundation, APICCO members and volunteers had the opportunity to train, acquire suitable equipment and develop the basic know-how needed to create work capable of travelling to places the group cannot reach physically.
For the creation of these works, APICCO collaborated with organisations including the National Theatre of Northern Greece, TRI.ENA Cultural Organisation and Alte Fablon Arts Venue, as well as artists, volunteers and collaborators.
